    Navy flags off Operation Eagle Eye in Warri, deploys heavy military equipment

    The Nigerian Navy has launched ‘Operation Eagle Eye’, a new strategy to combat militancy and other criminal activities in the Niger Delta region.

    The flag off was perfomed by Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas.

    It was gathered that the Sokoto State Government says it has deployed 175 Medical Doctors, Nurses and Midwives to Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in Sokoto city and environs.

    The Commissioner of Health, Dr Balarabe Kakale, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sokoto on Sunday.

    According to reports, the Osun State Government on Saturday deployed an Armoured Personnel Carrier to Ibokun community in the state for bank to reopen for commercial activities.
