According to reports, the FCT Police Command has dispelled the rumours making the rounds that an explosive device was discovered around Jabi Lake on Thursday.
The police said that contrary to the unverified rumours, findings by the Command’s Explosive Ordinance unit revealed that the device in question was an ultra sound flow metre used in measuring the volume of water that passes through a pipe.

According to reports, the Police Service Commission, has dismissed six senior officers for impersonation, forgery, insubordination, negligence and disobedience to lawful order.
The dismissals involved Superintendents of Police, Assistant Superintendents and a Chief Superintendent of Police.

Militant group Niger Delta Avenger (NDA) has accused the military of deceiving Nigerians by publishing ‘false’ videos supposedly showing the Nigerian military bombarding targeted illegal bunkering camps in the Niger Delta region.
