    Ekiti Assembly drags Fayemi, others to EFCC over alleged N40bn fraud

    According to reports, the Ekiti State House of Assembly has accused the immediate past governor of the state and Minister of Solid Minerals, Kayode Fayemi of allegedly looting about N40bn from the state’s treasury.

    The allegation was contained in a petition the state House of Assembly submitted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday in Abuja.

    According to reports, the Deputy Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Mr Segun Adewumi, on Monday said the passage of the revised 2016 budget was aimed at accelerating the development of the state.
