    Kaduna Electric sacks 24 workers over fraud

    Kaduna Electric has sacked twenty-four members of its staff for fraud related cases.A statement signed by the Head, Corporate Communication, Abdulazeez Abdullahi, quoted the Head of Human Resources, Hajia Khadija Kabir, as saying the staff were laid off following reports of an Investigation Committee that found them culpable of fraudulent offences, and confirmed by a Disciplinary Committee.

    According to reports, the Kaduna Electric, on Monday, commenced the distribution of prepaid meters to its customers in Sokoto, Kaduna, Kebbi and Zamfara.

    It was gathered that the Kaduna Electric says it has commenced customer enumeration using Geographic Information System in four states under its franchise.
