According to reports, the Senate on Tuesday urged the Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government to declare a “security emergency” in Southern Kaduna.
The call followed a motion by Sen. Danjuma La’ah (PDP-Kaduna), who told the senate at plenary that since 2011 many communities in the senatorial district had been consistently attacked by herdsmen.

A member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Mr Labari Tella, has said that the Federal Government should declare “a State of Emergency’’ to curb killings in Southern Kaduna.

According to reports, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has advised the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government to declare “emergency” on the economy.
