    Ekiti government to refund excess deductions on workers’ pay

    The Ekiti State government says it would in the next few days refund money over-deducted from the salaries of workers for car, housing and computer loans.

    This followed the submission of the report by a committee set up by the State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, which looked into the matter.

    Speaking on radio and television in Ado-Ekiti Tuesday, Governor Ayo Fayose also promised that the projects embarked upon by his administration would be completed as scheduled.

    At least four persons reportedly lost their lives on Tuesday, in Ibara Housing Estate area of Abeokuta, Ogun State capital after consuming excessive local liquor, popularly known as “ogogoro” .

    Dr Kayode Jegede, Lagos based fertility expert, has disclosed that excess toxins in the human body could lead to infertility.

    Jegede, who made the disclosure in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja, said that human beings consume various toxins in their daily foods.
