    NAFDAC seizes 14 cartons of expired drugs from counterfeiters

    It was gathered that the Abia office of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has seized 14 cartoons of expired amino acid drugs being re-validated in Aba, Abia.

    The Chief Regulatory Officer of NAFDAC, Abia Office, Mr Olisa Okeke, made the development known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Aba on Wednesday.

    Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello was on Thursday stopped from traveling to Saudi Arabia for a lesser hajj at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport as his travel visa had expired.

    According to reports, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has praised Nigerians for agreeing to shun the use of expired tyres.

    The Chief Executive Officer and Corps Marshal of FRSC, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, gave the commendation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra on Monday.

    The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences Unit ( Taskforce ) has paraded two suspects for repackaging expired digestive biscuits. The suspects are Mr. Rabiu Olalekan and Mr. Hakeem Tiamiyu. They were paraded at the taskforce office in Alausa Ikeja.
