According to reports, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has extended its aerial patrol and surveillance of the Abuja-Kaduna highway to include the railway lines.
The surveillance is part of the ongoing efforts to protect lives and safeguard critical national assets within the affected areas.
In the patrol, both railway terminus in Abuja, Kaduna and environs were covered using NAF helicopters.

In order to clear its registry of backlog, the Lagos State University (LASU) has extended the deadline for collection of certificates by its graduates by another two weeks.

Authorities of the National Youth Service Corps have sanctioned 24 members, allegedly for indiscipline, misconduct and breach of the NYSC Bye-Laws.
They form part of the 2,657 NYSC Batch B, Stream 11, 2015 corps members that passed out in Delta State.
Eighty of them were remobilised, 60 others are facing extension of service, while four of the corps members bagged state awards for excellence.
