    The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has inaugurated a modern automated car park at the Domestic Terminal 1 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

    FAAN’s Acting General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, disclosed this in a statement she released to newsmen on Monday.

    It was gathered that the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) said it had inaugurated three ultra-modern carousels and conveyor belts at the D-Arrivals of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

    According to reports, the Minister of State for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, has said that the restructuring in the agencies under the Ministry of Aviation will continue and more workers in the organisations will have to leave or be redeployed.

    According to reports, the Federal Government has appointed two new Directors for the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.

    The newly appointed directors are Nike Aboderin, who was appointed Director of Finance & Accounts, and Sadiku Abdulkadir Rafindadi, appointed as Director of Commercial & Business Development.

    A major tsunami hit the Federal Airports Authority Nigeria (FAAN) on Wednesday as over 22 persons including Directors, General Managers and Deputy General Managers were affected in a major shake up.
