An outbreak of fire has been reported at the packaging material store of Dangote Industries noodles factory in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Available information has it that the fire engulfed the factory’s store on Thursday.
It affected in the main the packaging material section and part of the laminate stores.
The main production factory and the finished product store were not affected by the fire.
Fire fighting officials were invited and the fire was successfully put out without any casualties, the company said on Friday.

It was gathered that the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in Niger, has sealed a sachet water factory in Kontagora area of the state over non-compliance with approved health standards.
Mr Anikoh Ibrahim, the State Coordinator of NAFDAC, made the disclosure on Tuesday in Minna in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Kaduna State Governor, Mr Nasir El-Rufai, has flagged off the construction of a Potato Farm and Processing factory worth $120 million, in line with his administration’s economic diversification programme.
