The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has sealed off fake cosmetics factory in Benue State, and picked up a distributor of fake products at Nala, headquarters of Gwer West Local Government Area at the weekend.

According to reports, the Nigerian Army on Saturday debunked online reports that a fake Army major, Juliana Gumel, was arrested with Improvised Explosive Devices and children.
Some online portals had claimed that Gumel was arrested in Abuja with bombs and children, apparently kidnapped.
However, Nigerian Army spokesman, Col. Sani Usman, said in a statement that though Gumel was arrested in Gwagwalada, Abuja with a fake soldier’s outdated identity card, there were no bombs or children with her.

The public has been alerted to the existence of fake Facebook accounts in the name of the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed.
The accounts are said to be operated by some unscrupulous individuals to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

Suspected terrorists led by a woman have been nabbed in the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja with investigations ongoing.

It was gathered that the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps in Sokoto State have arrested one Collins Nzewewe for alleged printing of fake currencies.
The Commandant of the corps in the state, Abdullahi Dutsin-ma, presented the suspect to newsmen on Thursday in Sokoto.
