Nine persons were feared killed yesterday when security agents and members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), otherwise known as Shi’ites clashed in Kano over the yearly procession of the group.
Eight Shi’ite members and one policeman were killed while others from both sides suffered serious injuries.

Following a bomb explosion along Banki, Usmanari, Kumshe road in Borno State, two soldiers of the 152TF Battalion of the Nigerian Army have been feared dead.
The explosion which occurred at about 8:10 a.m. this morning also left no fewer than eight soldiers injured.
According to the report, the explosion destroyed one canter truck, while the injured persons are currently receiving first aid treatment before they are evacuated by air to a hospital.

A former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), has disclosed that there was no Nigerian that former President Goodluck Jonathan feared more than Bola Tinubu, a national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Reports reaching ADELOVE NEWS have it that, many have been feared killed after a building collapsed at the Dosunmu bus stop area of Agidingbi in Lagos.
According to the spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, the building collapse was caused by a landslide.
Farinloye also disclosed that during rescue operations, one woman was brought out from the rubble dead.
An oil tanker has fallen over at Kara, on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, spilling its content and causing a huge fire.
The fire is said to be far spreading to the opposite side of the busy Expressway, leaving a huge traffic to in-bound and out-bound vehicles.
The accident reportedly occurred at about 4a.m on Wednesday and many people have been feared killed and several others trapped.
The explosion was said to have affected mostly residents who went to scoop petrol from a fallen tanker.
