    Yabatech to reopen tomorrow after fire disaster

    Academic activities are to resume at the Yaba College of Technology on Tuesday, five days after they were suspended in the aftermath of a fire incident.

    Dr Charles Oni, Director, Public Relations Unit of the college, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that following the resumption, semester examination would begin on Wednesday.

    The management had on Nov. 23, directed that all academic activities and ongoing examinations be suspended, following a fire outbreak in the Bakassi female hall.

    Fire disaster: 3 students to face murder charges over fire incident, kills 3 students in their school

    Following a school fire that killed three students of Stephjoy Boy High School, Kenya,3 students of the school have been arrested and will be charged with murder.

    The initial death toll rose from two to three when another severely injured student, Zachary Njoroge died while undergoing treatment at the Kenyatta Nation National Hospital on Monday night.

    Fire Disasters: Two Die In Lagos Sallah

    Tragedy struck on Friday and Saturday in Lagos State after a 37-year-old man, Lekan Are, and a 15-year-old teenager, Olamilekan Eniola, were killed in separate fire incidents in the state.

    Report gathered that Lekan Are was burnt to death in the toilet, where he was trapped, after fire engulfed a three-storey building at Olushi, Lagos Island, while Eniola was killed in a fire incident in the Ilasamaja, Oshodi-Isolo area of the state.
