    Four Nigerian Airlines To Commence Flight Operations To Niger

    Four Nigerian carriers, Arik Air, Air Peace, Overland Air and Azman Air services have been slated to start flight operations from Nigeria to Niger.

    Gunmen have shot and killed four personnel of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Obeafor community in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.

    There was confrontation between the NSCDC operatives and suspected criminals, which led to the death of the victims on Monday.

    Outgoing Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Friday marked his last days in office by commuting four death row inmates to life imprisonment.

     

    The inmates whose names were not made available as at press time had served over 25 years waiting for the hangman.

    Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja have commenced the interrogation of the Chief Security Supervisor of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company and three others in connection with the attempt to export 144kg of ephedrine to Maputo, Mozambique.
