    A charming and gorgeous undergraduate student has fallen sick and died at the Abeokuta FMC leaving many in tears.

    A beautiful 300 level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Oyindamola Mutiyat has died. Oyindamola died yesterday at the at Federal Medical Centre after falling ill.

    A former Minister of Works, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, has resigned his appointment as the Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State.

    Ogunlewe, on Wednesday, said his resignation was with immediate effect.

    He said: “I have decided to resign my appointment as Pro-Chancellor of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta with immediate effect.

    Members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU) at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB) have called for the removal of the institution’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Bamidele Oyewole, over alleged high-handedness and financial misappropriation.

    The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, has announced the resumption of academic activities on October 3, weeks after the school closed indefinitely following students’ unrest which resulted in the destruction of properties.

    The Head, Directorate of Public Relations of the University, Emi Alawode, said in a statement on Saturday that the Senate ordered the resumption.
