Ogun Governor, Ibikunle Amosun on Thursday, granted amnesty to 17 prisoners serving various jail terms in the state. He also commuted the death sentences passed on four other prisoners to life imprisonment.

Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun on Sunday said he apprehended a couple for dumping refuse on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and handed them over to the police for prosecution.
Amosun made this known during the 2016 Democracy Day event organised by the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, held at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Abeokuta.

Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun on Sunday said his administration has attracted about 100 companies to Ogun State. Mr. Amosun stated this in his speech in Abeokuta to mark the Democracy Day.

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Thursday signed into law the Bill creating 37 new Local Council Development Areas in the State.
Speaking shortly after signing the Bill into law, Amosun said the creation of the new LCDAs would bring development closer to the people.
