    Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has refuted reports that he was ill and had been flown abroad for medical attention.

    The social media went agog on Tuesday after news made the rounds that the governor slumped last Wednesday at the government house in Asaba.

    As part of measures to reduce the high youth unemployment rate in Delta State, a total of 17,173 private sector jobs have been created by the state government in the last one year, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has disclosed.
