    Biafra: IPOB berates Yoruba and Hausa over Kanu’s detention

    Nnamdi Kanu, the Leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has flayed the West and the North for not condemning the detention of their leader.

    The group in a statement credited to its spokesman, Emma Powerful, stated that the Yoruba and the Hausa were not speaking against the injustice, saying that that was why God was angry with Nigeria.

    The group maintained that its leader committed no crime and should not suffer undeserved punishment.

    Leaders of Hausa/Fulani herdsmen in Abia State have signed an accord with community leaders  in Abia to ensure a peaceful coexistence.

    This is part of proactive measures adopted by the state government, the police and leaders of various communities in Abia to forestall violent clashes between herdsmen and their host communities in Abia.

    There has been tension in Lara, Igbe community, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State after some Hausa thugs allegedly slaughtered a 33-year-old resident, Shola Olaide, during an argument.
