    EFCC searches former Education Minister, Shekarau’s residence

    Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday searched the residence of the former education minister, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau.

    A source close to the commission told Newsmen on Sunday that EFCC operatives stormed the former minister’s residence along Mundubawa avenue in Kano metropolis at 8am for the search.

    The operatives, accompanied by Shekarau searched the house for several hours before they left with him at 1:15pm, it was gathered.

    The Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU) has decided to resume indefinite strike due to non-implementation of agreement reached between FG and the group, ASUU.
