Mr. Ibrahim Idris, the Inspector General of Police, has expressed assurance that the November 26, governorship election in Ondo State would be free of violence, saying officers and men of Nigeria Police Force would be on ground to tackle any act of violence.

The acting Inspector General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris, has solicited support from the Nigerian Navy for specialised training to marine police designated for maritime security.
