    Ikeja Electric unveils new billpay method, cautions customers to stop making cash payments to staff

    Nigeria’s largest electricity distribution company, Ikeja Electric, as part of efforts to ensure efficient service delivery to its customers across its network, has cautioned customers against making cash payments to its staff.

    In a statement released by the company’s Head of Corporate Communications, Felix Ofulue, he noted that the company’s Linesmen, Engineers and Technicians are not commissioned to receive cash payments of any kind.

    The management of Ikeja Electric has restated reason why it had to cut off further discussions with labour the termination of some workers’ appointments.
