Unidentified hoodlums numbering 100 invaded the Internally Displaced Persons camp in Apo area of Abuja on Saturday and carted away some relief materials meant for 872 IDPs by the Nigerian Red Cross Society.

Gunmen have killed at least one person and injured several others in Kasada Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Eyewitnesses told newsmen that the armed bandits numbering about 12 invaded the town on motorcycles at about 3 a.m. on Wednesday.
The witnesses who craved for anonymity, said the hoodlums searched many houses in Makera, Marina, Yara-gabas, Yara-arewa and Kofar-fada areas of the city.

Troops of Operation DELTA SAFE, a military outfit in the Niger Delta, have arrested the chief priest of Bayelsa Strike Force, a militant group in Cross River state.
Olaolu Daudu, spokesman of the outfit, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday.
He said the shrine located in Ikot Offing Ambai in Akpabuyo local government area of the state, was destroyed.

Unknown gunmen on Wednesday invaded the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) office in Onitsha, Anambra, torching some equipment and Star Times section in the premises.
Acting Manager of the station, Mr Chris Nwigwe, told Newsmen in Onitsha that the incident occurred at about 1.40 a.m.

Armed Soldiers yesterday invaded three Bayelsa Communities of Peremabiri, Akamabugo and Tikogbene in Southern Ijaw local government council area of the state, allegedly destroying over 43 houses and carting away three speed boats.

No fewer than nine people have been reportedly killed after suspected cult members attacked Assa community in the Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State.
It was learnt that the victims were killed in a week-long attack, which started last Monday.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen at the weekend invaded Ilewo-Orile community in Ogun State, killing three persons.
