    Amnesty International to investigate death in EFCC custody

    Global rights organisation, Amnesty International, has vowed to investigate the demise of Desmond Nunugwo who died in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on June 19, 2016.

    The interim Country Director, Amnesty International, Makmid Kamara, gave the assurance when members of Nunugwo’s family led by their lawyer, Mr. Paul Edeh, submitted a petition to the country office of the organisation in Abuja on Wednesday.
