Board of Trustees, Kano Traders Union, has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), accusing the sacked leadership of Kano Textile Market Association of allegedly embezzling over N700 Million Union money.

A mid-night fire on Tuesday gutted the famous Kurmi market in Kano metropolis, destroying property worth millions of Naira.An eye witness told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano on Wednesday that the incident occurred around 11:45 p.m.
