    UNICEF ranks Jigawa and Bauchi as having highest number of malnourished children

    The UNICEF Bauchi D Field Office says Jigawa and Bauchi States have the largest number of malnourished children in Nigeria.

    Dr. Danjuma Almustafa, UNICEF, Bauchi D Field Officer, stated this in Bauchi at the presentation of a report on National Nutritional and Health Survey.

    NGOs using malnourished IDPs to make money – Governor Shettima

    Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno on Monday said some Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) have been taking advantage of the pains of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the state to defraud foreign philanthropists.

    The information is contained in a statement issued by Malam Isa Gusau, the Special Adviser to the governor on communication, made available in Maiduguri.
