A 29-year-old man, Tijani Ibrahim, on Thursday appeared before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly raping his sister-in-law.
Ibrahim, who resides at No 5, Yekini St., Off Oniwaya Road, Agege, a Lagos suburb, is facing two-count charge of rape and assault.
The Prosecutor, Sgt. Rafael Donny, told the court that the offences were committed on July 13 and July 22, respectively at the accused residence.
Donny alleged that the accused raped his 17- year-old sister-in-law who lived in his house.
A septuagenarian, Adebowale Dauda, who allegedly raped an 11-year old girl, was on Wednesday hauled up before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court.
The accused, 78, whose address is unknown, is facing a three-count charge of defilement, sexual assault and breach of peace.
The prosecutor, Jimah Iseghede, a police sergeant, told the court that the offences were committed on August 4 at 29, Anipupo St., Pen Cinema, Agege, a suburb of Lagos.

It was gathered that the police on Tuesday arraigned one 25-year-old driver, Samaila Yahuza of Katampe, Abuja, in a Wuse Zone 2 Senior Magistrates’ Court for allegedly receiving stolen property.
