    Why NITDA’s recruitment of 368 workers was stopped – Minister explains

    The Federal Government stopped the National Information Technology Development Agency from recruiting 368 new employees it had issued employment letters to because the agency did not follow due process, the Minister of Communications, Mr. Adebayo Shittu, has said.

    Shittu said this in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Victor Oluwadamilare, in Abuja on Wednesday.

    The minister said the former Director-General of NITDA, Mr. Peter Jack, ignored due process in conducting the recruitment.
