    Benue government signs MoU to boost agriculture

    The Benue state Government on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding worth €400 million, with the Humanitarian Environmental Project Company  for the mechanisation of agriculture in the state.

    Speaking during the ceremony at the People’s House in Makurdi, Wim Belt, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HEPC, said the project would provide 5,000 jobs and education to the local populace.

    According to reports, the House of Oduduwa and the Bank of Industry have signed a Memorandum of Understanding which would provide loans to youths in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
