    According to reports, the journey to ascend the Benin throne which began last Saturday, has taken the Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom, Prince Eheneden Erediauwa, to Uzama Palace Tuesday.

    He was expected to leave the Eko-Ohae for Uzama Palace Monday, but extended the journey to today because of the state of the road.

    Nigeria begins e-passenger system to monitor foreigners movement

    Nigeria has began the use of Electronic Passenger Registration‎ System (e-PARS) to monitor the movement of foreigners for security reasons.

    The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) introduced the system to check activities of illegal immigrants and terrorists. NIS Public Relations Officer Ekpedeme King said in Abuja that it was in line with international best practices and a common fight against terrorism.
