    Police pensioners to get N1.2bn from PTAD next month

    According to reports, the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate on Wednesday said it would release a total sum of N1.2bn between now and December 15 to offset arrears of pensioners of the Nigeria Police Force.

    The Director-General, PTAD, Mrs Sharon Ikeazor, stated this when members of the House of Representatives Committee on Pensions visited the agency.

    Imo government approves N1.2bn for payment of August pensions

    It was gathered that the Imo State government says it has approved the sum of N1.2 billion for immediate payment of pensions for the month of August 2016.

    The Commissioner for Internally Generated Revenue and Pensions Matters, Ifeanyi Ararume, disclosed this in Owerri the Imo State capital.
