    Ex-Kaduna governor denies spending N2.1bn on sweet, juice in 2014

    Immediate past governor of Kaduna State, Alh. Muhktar Ramalan Yero, on Wednesday denied spending N2.1 billion on sweet and juice in 2014.

    The Kaduna State Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Mohammad Abdullahi, on Saturday, alleged that the previous administration led by Yero in the state spent N2.1 billion on sweets, juice and food, annually.

    Yero’s Commissioner of economic planning, Mr. Madami Garba Madami, described the assertion as “unprofessional and mischievous comment”.

    According to reports, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Mohammad Abdullahi, on Saturday, alleged that the previous Peoples Democratic Party-led administration in the state spent N2.1billion on sweets, juice and food, annually.
