    The Nigerian Navy has launched ‘Operation Eagle Eye’, a new strategy to combat militancy and other criminal activities in the Niger Delta region.

    About 22 illegal refineries and oil wells have been destroyed by the Nigerian Navy in an operation in the Ogu Bolo area of Rivers State.

    Reports gather that the navy, in a patrol team from FOB BONNY, destroyed 22 illegal refineries and 10 dug out wells in the area.

    Nigerian Navy Ship Pathfinder in Port Harcourt on Tuesday impounded 253,000 litres of illegally refined diesel loaded in two vessels and one wooden badge.
