    Data tariff: We’re consulting widely with stakeholders, says NCC

    Mr Tony Ojobo, the Director of Public Affairs, Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) on Wednesday said the commission was consulting widely with stakeholders on data floor price.

    Ojobo said this in Abuja while briefing newsmen on the recent increase and suspension of the price of data.

    The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) received a total of 4,304 complaints concerning unsolicited telemarketing, both voice and text, within nine months, Mr Ayoola Oke, the Chief Executive Officer of ICT Derivatives Ltd, has said.

    The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Nigeria’s communications regulatory body, has warned subscribers against the purchase of pre-registered subscriber identity module (SIM) cards, adding that fines and jail terms awaited people caught using such SIM cards as it is a criminal offence.
