    Adamawa State command of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, says it has detected new methods of drugs trafficking adopted by drug dealers in the state.

    Commander of the agency in the state, Yakubu Kibo, made this known while speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Yola.

    The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has raised the alarm that drug cartels are gradually changing their modus operandi by turning to African in sourcing narcotics like heroin.

    National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has revealed how staffers of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) allegedly conspired with suspected drug traffickers in a botched attempt to export 144kgs of ephedrine to Maputo, Mozambique.

    A 20-year-old man, Mansur Bashir of Kabusa area of the Federal Capital Territory, on Friday pleaded guilty to dealing on cannabis sativa.

    Bashir was arraigned before a Federal High Court, Abuja, by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), for being in possession of 400 grammes of cannabis sativa.

    Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted €325,640 and $30,000 (about N175 million) being smuggled from Greece and Austria.
