The British Government has donated N56 million Returnees Reception Centre, constructed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, to the Nigerian Immigration Service.
The centre was jointly inaugurated by the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr Paul Arkwright and the Minister of Interior, Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau in Lagos on Wednesday.

According to reports, the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, Cross River state Command, on Friday said it has arrested two illegal immigrants.

This is contained in a statement issued by the NIS spokesperson, Mr Ekpedeme King, on Saturday in Abuja.
