    FG to probe banks for non-remittance of taxes

    According to reports, the Federal Government is set to appoint about 150 firms as consultants to probe revenues collected by banks on behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service and the Federal Inland Revenue Service between July 2012 and December 2015.

    EFCC compiling list of employers involved in non-remittance of pension funds for prosecution

    The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has revealed that it is collaborating with Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in compiling for prosecution a list of employers who have not been remitting deducted pension contributions.

    This was disclosed by Chinelo Anohu-Amazu, Director-General, PenCom, at a news briefing ahead of the third edition of World Pension Summit, WPS, taking place between September 27 and 28.
