    Former Akwa Ibom Governor, Attah quits Partisan Politics

    Report gathered that a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Victor Attah, yesterday, announced that he had quit partisan politics.

    He, however, said his action should not be misconstrued as accepting to join the All Progressives Congress, APC.

    According to him, by November 20, he would be 77, and had become an elder statesman, noting that there had been other statesmen who served and continued to serve Nigeria outside partisan politics.
