    Mr Bimbo Ashiru, the commissioner, Ministry of Commerce and Industry,Ogun State  said it generated N474m revenue between January and October.

    The commissioner while defending the 2017 budget proposal ofhis ministry beforethe state’s House of Assembly Committee on Finance and Appropriation in Abeokuta said N436 million was realised from road haulage, N27.4 million from registration of business premises, while N11.2 million came from inspection fees.

    A pastor, identified as Adekunle Francis has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command has arrested, for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl, simply identified as Dolapo.

    Francis was arrested on November 22 at Ipamesan, Sango Ota, after he allegedly lured his victim into an uncompleted building under the pretext of praying for and anointing her.

    He was said to have raped her until she passed out.

    Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun has rewarded one of the athletes that made Nigeria proud at the Rio 2016 Paralympics.

    The police in Ogun state have arrested a cemetery worker found with two human skulls.

     

    Oluwatoyosi Akorede, an attendant at Ayepe Cemetery, was arrested on Sunday night at Isale Oko area of Shagamu by a patrol team led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Shagamu, Moses Aduroja, a Superintendent (SP).

    It was gathered that the suspect might have gotten the skulls by exhuming bodies of dead people.

    A pastor, identified as Wale Fagbere, got stuck in a shrine in   Ketu community in Ayetoro  area of Yewa North local government, Ogun State while destroying the traditional worshipers’ items.
