    Ondo workers begin  strike over salaries

    ONDO State workers will today begin an indefinite strike over non-payment of their five months’ salaries. The decision to embark on the industrial action was taken at a meeting yesterday morning in Akure, the state capital.

    It was attended by leaders of Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC), Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC).

    Ondo workers join NLC protest, call for reversal of petrol price

    Workers in Ondo State on Wednesday complied with the directive of a faction of the national leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).

    Workers in the south western state abandoned their duty posts to stage a peaceful protest against the decision of the federal government to increase the official pump price of petrol.
