Five suspected pipeline vandals and oil thieves have been arrested by Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Rivers State.
The suspects were reportedly arrested at a creek around Cutting Channel 2 in Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State, when NSCDC stormed the area in search of oil thieves and illegal refining sites, Punch reports.
The suspects were apprehended while going about their ignoble endeavours, with many rubber containers with which they scooped refined fuel in their possession.
