    Police rescue 28 chained, locked up in house in Lagos

    The Lagos State Police Command at the weekend rescued 28 children and adults chained and locked up by one Emmanuel Adeyemi at the Oke-ira area of Ojodu, Lagos.

    The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, CP Fatai Owoseni, acting on a tip-off, had deployed operatives from the Area G Command Headquarters to the scene.

    Police rescue three abandoned babies in Lagos

    Policemen in Festac Division, Lagos State, have rescued three abandoned babies.

    The mothers of two of the babies, who were abandoned at different locations, have not been located as at press time.

    But the mother of the third baby was caught after dropping the about three-week-old child near a gas station on 21 Road.

    The lady apprehended has been identified as Bose Ojo, 27.

    Police rescue another chained kid in Ogun

    According to reports, the Ogun Police Command has rescued another chained 10-year-old girl, Promise Udeh, at Adigbe area of Abeokuta.

    She was rescued on Thursday when neighbours living close to the building where she was chained alerted the police.

    The acting Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said she was allegedly chained by her aunt, Chiamaka Okafor, who accused her of stealing N4,000.

    Oyeyemi said Chiamaka is currently on the run but her husband, Sunday Okafor has been
