    Power outage disrupts flights at Lagos airport

    Flight operations were disrupted at the international terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos, for two days; Saturday and Sunday, following continued power outage.

    According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the power outage affected international flights.

    The General Manager, Public Affairs, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr Yakubu Dati, confirmed the development on Sunday in Lagos to journalists.

    Nigerian Electricity Distribution Companies (DISCOs) have pledged to provide transformers to communities where required, saying the effort was to improve power supply in the country.
