Fight broke out between policemen and some people suspected to be members of the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) in Asaba on Monday, eyewitnesses said.

A Magistrate Court in Rivers State, has ordered that the 44 pro Biafra supporters arrested in connection with a protest by the Indigenous People of Biafra, in Port Harcourt be remanded in prison.
They were part of hundreds who marched to show solidarity for Nnamdi Kanu, the Biafran Radio Director, arrested by the Department of State Services.

Report gathered that the 17 members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who were arrested by the Anambra State Police Command, have been released.
