    UNN student produces yam-pounding machine, needs N1m for mass production

    A final year student of agriculture and bio-resource engineering at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Mr Chibuike Ekwueme, has produced a device for food pounding.

    Ekwueme, who hails from Orba in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Nsukka on Wednesday that he needed support for mass production of the device.

    Nigeria can’t say amount of crude oil it produces, says NEITI

    The Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, NEITI, has stated that the country is not sure of the quantity of crude oil it produces, but can only state the amount of the commodity it exports.

    This was disclosed on Wednesday by the Executive Secretary of the agency, Waziri Adio while making a presentation on the NEITI 2013 audit report at the Senate chamber.
