    Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno Statet on Monday said he was going ahead with the planned rebuilding of damaged buildings in spite of recent attacks by Boko Haram insurgents in some parts of the state.

    Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State said on Wednesday he had relocated to Bama, one of the communities worst hit by the Boko Haram insurgency in the state, to supervise its reconstruction.

    The caretaker Chairman of Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State, Alhaji Zanna Modu, has said that the degrading of the activities of Boko Haram insurgents was hastening the reconstruction of about 500 residential houses and public structures destroyed by insurgents in the communities in the LGA.
