    Flood looms in Kogi communities, government orders immediate relocation

    Residents residing along the banks of Rivers Niger and Benue in Lokoja, Kogi State are now gripped with fear of possibility of flooding as the water level in both rivers rose to 9.2 centimetre.

    A statement issued on Monday in Lokoja by Kogi State Ministry of the Environment, confirmed that the water level in both rivers was close to the 9.9 centimetres, which led to the 2012 flooding.
