    One Sunday Adeshina, a secondary school teacher, has been remanded in Kirikiri prison in Lagos State after he reportedly flogged a female student until she started bleeding.

    The magistrate, Mrs Oriyomi Sofowora, ordered that the accused be remanded for the facts of the case to be stated.
