    Flood kills 21, render 5,300 homeless in Kano

    Twenty-one persons have died and 5,300 rendered homeless in 22 local government areas of Kano State from flood.

    About 2,017 houses were also destroyed,

    But authorities of the Kano State Emergency and Rehabilitation Agency (SERA) said only eight councils were on its list.

    However, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said about 22 councils have been affected since the beginning of the rainy season.
