    Boko Haram: We will not force IDPs to return home – Shettima

    The Borno State Government has no plans to force Internally Displaced Persons whose communities had been liberated by the military from Boko Haram to return back home, Governor Kashim Shettima has said.

    The Executive Secretary of National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Julius Okojie, has disclosed that some Nigerian students studying in foreign countries are seeking transfer to Nigerian universities.

    Borno Emirs finally return home, two years after fleeing from Boko Haram insurgents

    Two out of the five Borno State emirs forced to flee their domain by Boko Haram terrorists have returned to their palaces. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the emirs fled to Maiduguri two years ago when the insurgents took control of their domain in Askira/Uba Local Government Area of the state.
