The Department of State Services has arrested Ahmed Salkida, a journalist, who was declared wanted by the Nigerian Army last month.
It was learnt that Salkida was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Monday afternoon shortly after his flight landed.

The Nigerian Army on Sunday identified three persons – Ahmed Salkida, a journalist, Aisha Wakili and Ahmed U. Bolori – as those that can provide information that will lead to the rescue of the abducted Chibok girls.

The Nigerian Army has declared three persons wanted in connection with the latest video of the abducted Chibok girls released by Boko Haram on Sunday.
Spokesman for the Army, Colonel Sani Usman, said that the suspects, Ahmed Salkida, (Ambassador) Ahmed U. Bolori and Aisha Wakil, had information on the conditions and the exact location of these girls.
